All these ingredients are available at Whole Foods. You can substitute packaged unsweetened soy milk or almond milk instead of making your own nut milk.
Night before - soak 1 C. raw almonds, walnuts or pecans with pure water and a pinch of sea salt.
Morning - drain the water off the soaked nuts and rinse. Place the nuts in a blender with 3 C. of pure water.
Blend on high for about 3 minutes. (if you're using almonds, after blending drain the almond milk into a container and discard the almond skins). Keep 2 C. of nut milk in the blender. Refrigerate the remainder to use the following day.
Add any or all of these ingredients to the nut milk and blend for about 2 minutes (longer if the fruit is frozen). Then pour into a big glass and enjoy every drop!
